My family & I have been enjoying our breakfast smoothies which give us a kickstart for the day while also giving our immune systems a powerful boost. I've been experimenting with the Matakana Superfood powders and here is our favourite so far. 

What you need:

1 Handful of kale

1 Tablespoon of pumpkin seeds

1 Tablespoon of sunflower seeds

1/2 Tablespoon of chia seeds (white or black)

1 Teaspoon of Matakana Maqui Berry powder

1 Teaspoon Matakana Cacao powder

One banana
 (fresh or frozen)

Frozen berries (or fresh berries with ice)

1 1/2 cup of Coconut water
 (or any nut milk)

Blend together (you can adjust the desired consistency by adding more coconut water or nut milk)

Serves 4
